Radioglaciology 2026 in Tübingen, Germany

The International Glaciological Society is pleased to announce the upcoming International Symposium on Radioglaciology, which will take place in the historic and picturesque city of Tübingen, Germany. This symposium will bring together researchers and practitioners, from across the globe to discuss advancements, challenges, and applications in the field of radioglaciology, working from the smallest scales of ice crystals on Earth all the way to interplanetary bodies.

One of the main goals of this conference is to foster new collaborations and networks in the field of Radioglaciology. The conference spirit will allow for ample time to meet old friends and make many new ones. The local organizing comittee is the Geophysics Group in Tübingen together with the glaciology group of the Alfred Wegener Institute in Bremerhaven (Eisen, Jansen). The scientific comittee is Reinhard Drews (Univ. Tübingen/GER), Rebecca Schlegel (Univ. Tübingen/GER), Olaf Eisen (AWI/GER), Daniela Jansen (AWI/GER), Nanna Karlsson (GEUS/DEN), Anja Rutishauser (GEUS/DEN), Nick Holschuh (Amherst/USA), Winnie Chu (Georgia Tech / USA), Benn Hills (Colorado School of Mines / USA), Cui Xiang Bing (Polar Research Institute / China).
